I stayed 1 night in a King Room and loved the memory foam mattress. The shower was awesome with a high showerhead and led mirror lighting that made getting ready fun. The staff was super sweet, especially the morning housekeeper. Her friendly smile really brightened my day at checkout! 😊

Staying at New Star Inn was quite an experience. The bed featured a comfortable memory foam mattress that helped me get a good night's sleep. The bathroom had a high showerhead, which I appreciated for my height. I loved the LED mirror lighting. it made getting ready fun and easy. However, I ran into a few issues. The room didn't have a clean mini fridge, which they falsely advertised. It looked like it had seen better days, and the microwave was missing. I asked the front desk for help, but they didn’t provide one during my entire stay. Additionally, the room cleanliness was questionable, as I noticed hair in the sheets and on the floor. Overall, while the design of the room felt modern, it lacked attention to detail in cleanliness and amenities.

It was just an optimal selection for a weekend breather in El Monte with a reasonable price. The memory foam mattress made for a restful night after a long drive. Bring your own snacks, as the kitchen amenities could use a refresh.

The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was super clean and comfy! Loved the microwave and mini fridge for snacks. The shower was great with a nice high showerhead. The staff was really nice and helpful, which added to the chill vibe. Totally a great value, especially for families with kids.
